Let me introduce myself. I am Csaba, and I have been tattooing for more than twenty years. It wasn’t always like this: I did many things before I finally fell in love with tattooing, and it became my life.
I have always felt a strong pull towards art in any shape or form. Tattooing was the rebellious, most powerful art form that got me. Through it I found my way to creativity and eased my hunger for art.
Any style
I love tattoos
Big tattoos and small tattoos. Colourful inks and black and grey. Unusually cool tattoos and strangely attractive ones. Art on the skin made to your own brief, or a tattoo with a unique twist. New traditional and old-fashioned. Marks for life that are delicately detailed or boldly black.
Swirly-girly or masculine tribal, no problem. Abstract or realistic, soft or harsh, watercolour or pastel, bright or muted, flowers and animals, people or landscapes. You name it!

My journey
Why did you start tattooing?
I often hear this question. In the beginning I simply felt that this was what I liked and wanted to do. Later the same question came back to me from time to time: why am I tattooing? Life always surprises you, and the “why” has evolved over the years.
It certainly wasn’t for the money at first; there was hardly any. Nor for fame, nor because it’s “so cool” to be a tattooist. Tattooing has a charming, magical glow because it can change your appearance for life. It can mark a spiritual turning point. And its constant, present pain makes you forget your daily problems, or at least moves your focus away from them for a while.
The real why
As I got older I discovered that tattooing is not about me. I am the tool that lets my clients express themselves. They give me their ideas and their trust, and together we create an image on their skin. That is how I serve them.
So here is my answer: I tattoo because it is the best way I can serve my fellow human beings with my very best skills, helping them express themselves. Every hour I spend tattooing and drawing lets me offer an even better service. It’s not about me; it’s about you. Only one achievement really matters: that happy face when you check out your fresh ink in the mirror.
Your design
An idea worth carrying for life
It is vital that your design is your own great idea, because you will carry it for the rest of your life. Think for a moment what else you decide to carry for life. Be unique and original, and don’t copy somebody else’s ink. Inspiration is good, but strive for your own expression. Everything in life is impermanent; even tattoos fade and soften after twenty or so years.
Think ahead
Picture yourself in ten or twenty years with that tattoo. Try to avoid images of fear, anger, hate and horror; at some point you might regret them. If that is what you are after, look for someone who specialises in that style. Some people wear tattoos simply as decoration, like jewellery. I like it even more when there is a deeper, meaningful connection to their owner.
Tattoos will always be a matter of taste, and fashion changes quickly. Don’t try to please all eight billion people. What matters is that it is for you, not for everybody else.

Tattoos are complex and time-consuming, depending on detail, size and colour, so I can’t give an exact price by email. Every tattoo and every person is unique.
